Jonny Whited is the Team Leader of our Concrete Division. Jonny has been with Tallmadge Asphalt since 2003, but has many years experience in the Concrete Industry. Jonny brings with him many year's of experience in the Concrete Industry, along with many new and innovative ideas.

We Use Premium Mix Concrete!

Tallmadge Asphalt / Paving Concrete Division uses a 6 sac mix for our concrete installations. Driveways are poured 4" thick. We also recommend a wire or fiber reinforcement. Wire reinforcement was the standard reinforcement used for years.

Fiber is the newer reinforcement being used today. It is a poly-propylene fiber that is about an inch long and is added to the concrete mix at the concrete plant.

We also use a curing agent that is applied over the finished product to allow the concrete to harden slowly which makes for a stronger finished product.

The concrete is also saw cut to help control cracking that can occur in this area due to the climate changes.
